Meet Susan Talbott, one of Pinnacle Financial Advisors’ founding partners. She’s a financial planner with a knack for approaching the planning process holistically—and she’s a morning person! Read on for more fun facts about Susan.

What was your dream job when you were 10 years old?

When I was young, I wanted to be an architect. I loved to draw house plans.

If you could travel to any destination, where would you go and why?

Somewhere remote, quiet, and peaceful…

What is your favorite destination in the United States?

I don’t know yet! I would like to visit all 50 states, and I haven’t checked all of them off my list yet, but I’m halfway there—25 states plus Washington, D.C.!

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. It’s the land of nice people, good manners, and the Minnesota Goodbye.

What do you like most about working at Pinnacle Financial Advisors?

The warm, wonderful team atmosphere at Pinnacle makes it easy to go to work each day. Everyone pitches in to make sure our clients receive the highest level of personalized service.

If you didn’t have to work, how would you fill your days?

I would split my time between reading and volunteering in the community. I love to read fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, biographies—a little bit of everything! This year, I want to join a book club to expand my reading.

I would like to volunteer on political campaigns and get involved in volunteer programs serving the poor.

Are you a morning person or a night owl?

I am a morning person!

Where did you go on your most recent vacation and what did you like most about it?  Recently I took a trip to Dana Point, California. My room had a private patio overlooking the ocean!

If you were a super hero, what power would you have and why?

Super Diplomacy! I would love to have the ability to resolve disputes and bring peace to any situation.

What was your favorite subject in grade school?

English, spelling, and reading were my favorite subjects in school.
